Kanye West Closes the Deal on Sale of Former Home

Better late than never, so they say. After roughly seven full years on LA property market, rapper and fashion designer – and half of the “Kimye” duo – Kanye West has finally found a purchaser for his long-time residence.

The multi-level contemporary styled home features three bedrooms and four full baths, along with numerous unique amenities, which include a home theatre, as well as a sizeable fish tank that is located in the master bath. The home, situated at 7882 Farehold Drive in LA, is also supposedly “controlled by built in computers.”

Back in 2002, West reportedly purchased the estate as a bachelor pad for$1.75 million, meaning that the alleged sale price of $2.95 million – which is just a tad less than the asking price of $3.3 million – could end up netting him a comfortable sum.

This home isn’t his only foray into the LA real estate world, though. Along with wife Kim Kardashian, Kanye West is also the owner of a Hidden Hills mansion (purchased for a cool $20 million), along with a Bel Air Italian style villa – which they bought in 2013, poured a sizeable sum of money into renovating, and is currently also listed for sale.
